It is mainly engaged in the production and sales of coal-to-methanol, coal-to-natural gas, coal-to-ammonia and other products, and is committed to the clean and efficient comprehensive utilization of lignite with low calorific value.
The company has an annual output of 500,000 tons of synthetic ammonia and 750,000 tons of methanol 500,000 tons of urea, 550,000 tons of ammonium nitrate, 1 million tons of compound fertilizer, 15 LNG15 10,000 tons, 150,000 tons of gasoline, 150,000 tons of dimethyl ether and other products.
The company, formerly known as "Fertilizer Plant of the People's Liberation Army in Kunming", was founded in 1958 and was collectively converted from the Third Infantry Preparatory School of the Chinese People's Liberation Army Army, and is the first medium-sized nitrogen fertilizer enterprise in the Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau.
